Reproductive Services
Dominion Equine Clinic veterinarians are happy to help you develop a breeding plan that suits your management needs. We offer a full range of mare reproductive services, including:
- pre-breeding examinations
- palpation and ultrasonography of the reproductive tract
- artificial insemination with both fresh-cooled and frozen semen
- pregnancy evaluations
- Select reproductive surgeries
We will also safely store frozen semen for a monthly fee.
We will provide thorough care during pregnancy, including:
- Fetal and placental monitoring
- Pre-foaling vaccination
- Nutritional counseling
8-12 hours after foaling, we will examine mare and foal, check foal IgG, and provide any necessary neonatal care.
